NOVALINK SOLUTIONS LLC is seeking an independent contractor to support the development of high-quality instructional materials for the Tennessee Department of Education (TDOE). The contractor will lead the creation of a design framework for K–2 supplemental science units and ensure all materials are engaging, user-friendly, and compliant with accessibility standards.ResponsibilitiesLead the development of a cohesive, state-approved design framework for the initial release of K–2 supplemental science unitsApply the design framework to existing Tennessee-adapted units and collaborate on the preparation of nine additional units for a later releaseRefine all materials to reflect TDOE’s vision for rigorous, inquiry-driven instructionProvide ongoing support in accessibility compliance and graphic design across a range of related Academics projectsEnsure all deliverables meet state and federal accessibility standards and align with TDOE branding expectationsHelp ensure coherence across materials, timely completion of deliverables, and effective implementation aligned to the statewide work plan under coordination of the division's leadership and project ownersSkillsAdvanced Use & Knowledge of Microsoft Suite: Powerpoint, Word, and ExcelAdvance Use & Knowledge of Adobe ProBackground or experience in branding/digital marketing/graphic designKnowledge of InDesign and CanvaAwareness of State and Federal ADA Compliance Regulations and ability to adhere to those requirements within TDOE developed documents and resources assigned to the scope of this projectAdherence to TDOE guidance on style and branding requirementsBackground in Science content for K-12 material desirableCompany OverviewNovalink Solutions LLC (Novalink) is a global consulting, engineering, and AI product development company delivering innovative technology and business solutions across industries including IT, Finance, Engineering, Healthcare, Insurance, Energy, Utilities, and Government.
