They are seeking an Advanced Planning Consultant to provide expert case consultation and strategic planning support to agents and management teams within the Pacific Zone, specializing in advanced planning areas such as estate, business, charitable, and retirement strategies.ResponsibilitiesPartner with agents and general office leadership to deliver one-on-one case consultations, helping design and implement advanced planning strategies involving estate, charitable, transnational, business, and retirement planningProvide responsive, professional support via in-person meetings, Zoom, and phone consultations to agents, Sales Development Managers, Product Consultants, and field managementServe as a technical expert on tax, legal, and financial aspects of advanced planning concepts, offering actionable insights that connect directly to product solutionsCollaborate with internal stakeholders across departments to develop and promote advanced markets initiatives that drive sales of life insurance productsCreate clear, compelling marketing, training, and educational materials for agents, clients, and their professional advisors (e.g., attorneys, CPAs)Represent the Advanced Planning Group as a trusted resource within the General Office and ensure high-quality field support across the assigned territorySkillsJuris Doctor (JD) strongly preferred, with a strong foundation in estate and tax law preferredLife insurance / industry sales support experience a plusDeep expertise in advanced planning topics, including estate, business succession, charitable giving, and retirement income strategiesProven ability to present complex legal and financial concepts in a clear, client-friendly manner that drives sales resultsExcellent verbal and written communication skills, strong presentation abilities, and a consultative approach to working with agents and clientsDemonstrated strength in relationship management and cross-functional collaborationWillingness and ability to travel 50% within the Pacific ZoneThis role requires FINRA licensed and/or FINRA Associated Person pre-hire fingerprintingBenefitsOvertime eligible: ExemptDiscretionary bonus eligible: NoSales bonus eligible: YesEmployees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonusEmployees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive programWe provide a full package of benefits for employees – and have unique offerings for a modern workforce, including leave programs, adoption assistance, and student loan repayment programsCompany OverviewFor over 180 years, we’ve helped turn your biggest dreams into milestones that last a lifetime.
