The Corporate Sales Engineer role involves articulating traditional security solutions, demonstrating next-generation endpoint technology, and collaborating with sales teams to secure and grow business relationships.ResponsibilitiesBe the expert in endpoint security space – eg. AV, EDR, incident response, forensics, SIEM, firewall, HIPS/IDS, etcComprehensive understanding of Windows, macOS, and Linux operating systemsArticulate basic security problems to a set of audiencesStrong self-starter with the ability to work independentlyWork collaboratively with Sales, Marketing, Support, and Engineering; the Sales Engineer should be the technical bridge between CrowdStrike and prospects/customersConduct demonstrations and proof of values with the ability to present technical concepts to a variety of external audiences up to C-level executivesEffective time management and organizational skills a mustSkillsBachelor's degree in technical studies with 1+ years of relevant experience in IT, security, system engineering/administration, or sales engineeringAbility to travel minimally as required (potentially once a year for annual Sales Kickoff Event)Knowledge of malware, threat intelligence, and/or sandbox analysisAbility to write and modify basic scripts.
