[Remote] Corporate Accounts Receivable Specialist

They are seeking a Corporate Accounts Receivable Specialist to perform accounts receivable functions, including billing and collections, while ensuring accurate financial data management and cash reconciliation.ResponsibilitiesIdentifies and communicates requirements to ensure all payer requirements are adhered to via billing & collection activityBills claims to appropriate payers including Medicaid, and all other payersResearches, corrects, and applies all transactions related to cash applications: cash posting, unapplied cash, credit balances, etcMaintains accurate accounts receivable records by clientFollows up on claim status through appeals, rebilling, recalculations, and adjudication of clean and denied claimsUnderstands and maintains full revenue cycle process from client account set-up through final cash resolutionIdentifies and communicates problem accounts or issues to management and teammates to foster timely correction and teamworkOrganizes responsibilities and priorities to ensure timely collection of receivablesVerifies eligibility and obtain supporting documentation of authorizations for client accounts or assists field offices in set-up of client accountsMaintains appropriate working knowledge of coding, collections, insurance practices and business systemsMaintains a proven track record of high volume claims research meeting collections goalsEnsures that all information regarding collections activity is properly and accurately entered into billing & collections systemCreates and modifies documents using Microsoft Office to support and update teammates and field offices regarding collections processes and system functionality including clerical duties such as photocopying, denial entry, and manual claims reprocessingConducts studies and submits recommendations for improving the organization’s accounting operationsPrepares monthly reports for CEO, Regional Vice Presidents, other executives or management as neededSkillsAt least one - two years' experience working in accounts receivable and collectionsHigh school diploma or general education degree (GED);
