[Remote] Core Thermal hydraulics Engineer/Analyst

Bee Talent Solutions is seeking a highly motivated Core Thermal Hydraulic Engineer/Analyst to support methodology development, analysis, and design efforts of the reactor core for the sodium-cooled Natrium Reactor program. The role involves performing thermal-hydraulics analysis, supporting the test program, and evaluating the behavior of advanced energy systems under various conditions.ResponsibilitiesPerform the thermal-hydraulics analysis using the in-house subchannel analysis software to assess various scenarios that feed into the reactor safety design parametersPerform the work under the scope of company’s quality assurance program and following the company’s quality assurance requirementsPerform the origination and/or design verification reviews of calculation products generated following the company’s governing policies and proceduresDeliver the deliverables which are complete, correct, free from errors, omissions, faults or defects in design, workmanship and materials, in accordance with any performance guarantees, specifications and applicable lawsSkillsB.S, M.S. or Ph.D. in Mechanical, Nuclear, or other relevant technical Engineering area from an accredited universityMinimum of 10 years of experience in thermal hydraulic analysis with a B.S. degree, or 8+ years with an M.S. or Ph.D. degree with a demonstrated ability to produce a high-quality work product8+ years' experience in Nuclear Systems, thermal-hydraulic behavior, and analysesDemonstrated knowledge and experience in advanced liquid metal-cooled nuclear reactor core design and thermal hydraulic analysis using the subchannel analysis software (e.g. SE2-ANL, COBRA, VIPRE)Strong understanding on the uncertainty quantification, verification and validationStrong communication skills desiredThe service provider will possess a high degree of trust and integrity, communicate openly and display respect, and a desire to foster teamworkCompany OverviewBee Talent Solutions provides business consulting and provisioning talent solutions for engineering and life sciences companies.
