Key Responsibilities:
⢠Review and edit a variety of written materials, including articles, reports, press releases, marketing materials, and more
⢠Ensure all written materials adhere to company style and branding guidelines
⢠Check for spelling, grammar, punctuation, and formatting errors
⢠Fact-check information and sources to ensure accuracy
⢠Collaborate with writers and other team members to improve the overall quality of written materials
⢠Meet tight deadlines and manage multiple projects simultaneously
⢠Provide constructive feedback to writers to improve their writing skills
⢠Keep up-to-date with industry trends and changes in language usage
Qualifications:
⢠Bachelor's degree in English, Journalism, Communications, or a related field
⢠Minimum of 2 years of experience as a copy editor or similar role
⢠Excellent written and verbal communication skills
⢠Strong attention to detail and ability to spot errors
⢠Proficient in using editing and proofreading tools
⢠Familiarity with AP Style and other style guides
⢠Ability to work independently and as part of a team
⢠Strong time-management and organizational skills
⢠Knowledge of SEO and online content best practices is a plus
