Overview
Position: Coordinator / Contractual Eligibility Consultant
Pay Rate: $19.06/hour
Schedule: Monday–Friday, 8:00 AM – 8:00 PM (8-hour shifts). Shifts and days may change with a two-day notice.

Role Overview
The Contractual Eligibility Consultant is responsible for researching and validating enrollment information, processing enrollment transactions, making outbound calls to enrollees and members, handling member inquiries, and participating in enrollment projects. This role also supports training initiatives and helps resolve member concerns.
Key Responsibilities
- Handle physical documents and paper records to verify eligibility for healthcare services.
- Review forms, applications, and supporting documentation to validate insurance coverage, demographic data, and eligibility criteria.
- Organize and maintain paper-based eligibility documents with accurate filing systems for easy retrieval.
- Analyze eligibility information to determine patients’ or members’ qualifications for healthcare services.
- Perform manual data entry to input eligibility information into appropriate systems or databases.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, policies, and standards while maintaining confidentiality.
- Identify opportunities to improve accuracy and efficiency in paper-based eligibility processes.
- Participate in feedback sessions and formal performance reviews to maintain quality standards.
- Generate reports and analyze data to address process bottlenecks and support decision-making.
