[Remote] Contract Recruiter / Talent Acquisition
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Kraus Hamdani Aerospace (KHA) is an aerospace company specializing in long-endurance unmanned aerial platforms. They are seeking a part-time contract recruiter to attract and hire exceptional talent for various technical and operational roles, ensuring a strong candidate experience throughout the hiring process.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Lead full-cycle recruiting for a variety of technical, operational, and business roles
ā¢ Partner with hiring managers to understand hiring needs, define candidate profiles, and launch effective searches
ā¢ Develop creative sourcing strategies to identify and engage hard-to-find talent
ā¢ Screen candidates for skills, experience, motivation, and overall fit
ā¢ Coordinate and help manage interview processes to keep searches moving efficiently
ā¢ Present qualified candidates with clear, thoughtful recommendations
ā¢ Maintain an excellent candidate experience through timely communication and follow-up
ā¢ Track pipeline activity, candidate status, and search progress in the applicant tracking system
ā¢ Help improve recruiting workflows, job postings, and hiring process consistency
ā¢ Support offer-stage coordination and closing efforts
Skills
ā¢ Proven experience in full-cycle recruiting
ā¢ Experience recruiting for technical, specialized, or hard-to-fill roles
ā¢ Strong sourcing skills and the ability to proactively build candidate pipelines
ā¢ Strong screening and assessment skills
ā¢ Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills
ā¢ High level of organization, responsiveness, and follow-through
ā¢ Ability to manage multiple searches in a part-time capacity
ā¢ Comfort working in a growing, evolving environment
ā¢ Availability during Pacific Time Zone business hours
ā¢ Experience recruiting for aerospace, defense, autonomy, robotics, embedded systems, or other deep-tech environments
ā¢ Experience supporting defense contractors or companies serving government or national security customers
ā¢ Familiarity with recruiting candidates who hold or are eligible for security clearances
ā¢ Experience working in startup or scale-up environments
ā¢ Experience using Greenhouse ATS
