[Remote] Contract AP Psychology Teacher - Curriculum Developer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. UWorld is seeking an experienced AP Psychology teacher to join our team as a remote content author, contributing to our web-based Advanced Placement study materials. In this role, you'll work closely with UWorld's internal content development team to create rigorous, student-centered AP Psychology preparation resources including multiple-choice questions and free-response questions aligned to the current AP Psychology course framework.ResponsibilitiesDevelop content for the Advanced Placement Psychology study materialsIndependently develop AP Psychology questions (MCQ and FRQ) and supporting rationales that reflect the current College Board course framework and exam standardsProduce instructional content including study guides and other student-facing materials aligned to the AP Psychology curriculumIncorporate feedback from UWorld's internal content team to revise and refine workCollaborates with team members to meet production goalsSkillsBachelor's degree in science required, a degree in Psychology is preferredAt least 3 years of experience teaching AP Psychology in high schoolTwo years of experience writing assessment questions (eg, classroom exams, labs) at the level of the AP Psychology examinationExperience being an AP Reader, AP Table Leader, or AP Consultant in Psychology is a strong plusDeep familiarity with the AP Psychology course framework, including the current exam format (MCQ, AAQ, and EBQ question types)Proven ability to write high-quality AP Psychology FRQs with accurate, detailed scoring rubricsDemonstrated ability to develop student-facing instructional materials such as study guides, lecture slides, or webinarsAcute attention to detailExcellent verbal/written communication skillsOutstanding problem-solving skills with proven capacity to execute conceptual ideas into a finished productAbility to work independently while operating within a dynamic team environmentAptitude for adapting quickly and collaborating effectivelyAbility to provide, receive, and respond to feedback positivelySolid organizational, prioritization, and self-motivation skillsProficient in MS Office and a working knowledge of information technology (IT)Company OverviewUWorld is an e-learning company offering formative assessment strategies services.
