[Remote] Content Specialist, World Languages

Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Carnegie Learning is seeking a highly motivated Content Specialist for World Languages in a part-time capacity. This role involves supporting sales teams by providing knowledge and tools for effective communication with customers, delivering presentations, and ensuring customer satisfaction through exemplary service and collaboration.ResponsibilitiesIncorporate classroom experience, best pedagogical practices, and knowledge of world language instructional materials into all day to day activities for content area instruction with colleagues, teachers, and leadersDemonstrate a deep understanding of Carnegie Learning products and solutions, and their placement in the marketStay informed of current industry trends; actively identify opportunities for learning; learn and apply new concepts to improve performance; share information with othersCollaborate as a strategic partner in a targeted region to increase world language salesSupport prospecting efforts in collaboration with local sales teamsPresent focused presentations of Carnegie Learning world language products to state and local review committees for adoptions and pilotsTravel to adoption presentations to help close businessUse consultative selling and active listening skills to win business opportunities and align product offerings with customer needsProvide exemplary customer service by building relationships, investigating problems, developing solutions, and making recommendations to management and editorial teamsSupport sales and customer satisfaction by curating materials, presentations, handouts, standards correlations, etcCollaborate with the product team on special and ongoing projectsParticipate in pre-work and market study of new instructional solutions as neededRemain knowledgeable of competition in the content area(s), alter messaging based on competitors strengths and weaknessesHelp Vice President to judge the effectiveness of sales activities, strategies, and toolsProvide accurate and detailed information about content and educational trends that impact revenueEffectively collaborate with internal team members and stakeholders including Sales, Product, Professional Learning, and MarketingSkillsBachelor's degree in world languages education3+ years of teaching experience in world languages required.
