[Remote] Content Production Specialist

The role involves creating and maintaining high-quality online course content, publishing it through Learning Management Systems (LMS) and Content Management Systems (CMS), and ensuring content functionality and visual appeal.ResponsibilitiesBuilds online courseware in the company’s LMS according to specifications outlined in project documents, such as text-based storyboards (primarily from Microsoft Word), course exports, exam banks, and other digital assetsConfigures courseware in the company's CMS to maintain an up-to-date eLearning catalog in alignment with the current product strategyPerforms quality reviews of courseware ensuring functionality and development requirements are met, identifying, and addressing issues in collaboration with other curriculum team membersReviews work performed by contractors, correcting issues discovered during the review, to ensure quality standards are metIdentifies LMS bugs and enhancement opportunities working with IT and department management to prioritize technical requests, tests code to be pushed to the LMS, and trains curriculum team members on LMS functionalityUpdates course content (e.g., fixing broken links, typos, text updates, etc.) within the LMS based on team and student feedbackSupports administrative functions related to offering and maintaining content through the LMS, such as course prints, exam downloads, etcSkillsBachelor's degree2+ years of relevant experience, or a combination of related experience and educationExcellent oral and written communication skillsMeticulous attention to detailCommitment to producing quality productDeadline consciousComfortable with Learning Management Systems (LMS)Proficiency with M365 suite of products (Word, Excel, etc.)Proficiency with WYSIWYG editors/interfacesExperience with web technologies such as HTML, CSS, and JavaScriptComfortable with project management softwareCompany OverviewCareer Certified offers user-friendly platforms with understanding students' needs to guide them as they enter their new careers.
