[Remote] Content Producer

The Content Producer will reimagine and own IDC’s podcast, produce short-form video content, and lead the customer story program to create engaging multimedia content that resonates with technology vendors and executive audiences.ResponsibilitiesReimagine and own IDC’s podcast — guest research, episode planning, recording coordination, editing workflow, show notes, transcript review, social clips, and distributionProduce short-form video content including scripting, coordinating shoots or recordings, and working with our video team to edit and deliver assets for social and web channelsPartner with campaign and social team members on creative content that extends the reach and life of every asset and episode the team producesCollaborate on how to maximize occasional programs like customer events, rapid response initiatives, and seasonal research through integrated content and agile executionBuild and run IDC’s customer story program: source subjects, conduct prep interviews, coordinate production, and write and publish case studies featuring technology vendors, CIOs, and CMOsDevelop a repeatable workflow for customer story production that can scale with volumeDirect IDC’s content production agent stack — configure, prompt, and quality-check AI tools that handle show notes, research briefs, transcript cleanup, and content repurposingPartner with the Content Strategist on campaign and nurture content to ensure all produced assets are properly extended across channelsSkills2–5 years producing content across at least two formats (podcast, video, long-form written) — but we care more about what you've built than how long you've been building it. Show us the range and quality of your work across multiple formats and audience typesDemonstrated AI fluency — you actively use Claude and other tools in your production workflow, and are prepared to demonstrate that fluencyStrong social sensibility and a sharp understanding of how to build modern, influential contentPortfolio that shows range: multiple formats, multiple audience types — we want to see examples of your best workExperience interviewing senior executives or subject matter experts on camera or on micExceptional written and verbal communication skills and an acute eye for detailA strong bias toward action, with clear iteration and improvement cyclesB2B or technology industry experienceBachelor's degree in Marketing, Journalism, or related area of studyExperience running a customer story or case study program at meaningful volumeFamiliarity with podcast hosting platforms, video editing tools, and social scheduling tools (ex.
