Remote Content Editor/QA Instructional Design

Job Overview We are seeking a detail-oriented and skilled Content Editor/Instructional Designer to join our dynamic team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in editing and proofreading, with a keen eye for detail and a passion for producing high-quality written content. As an editor/QA pro, you will play a crucial role in ensuring that all materials adhere to our editorial standards and are free from errors, while also enhancing the clarity and effectiveness of the writing and imaging (student usability). Duties • Review and edit copy for grammar, punctuation, style, and consistency. • Review content to enhance where needed for quality and depth. • Maintain clear communication with team members regarding editorial guidelines and project timelines. • Assist in copywriting and creative writing tasks when necessary. • Ensure images are appropriate and strong for storytelling. • Ensure student experience is engaging and straightforward. Qualifications • Proven experience in proofreading, editing, technical writing, and curriculum design across different formats. • Strong communication skills with the ability to articulate feedback effectively. • Proficient writing skills with an understanding of how the writing flows into conversation and interactive modalities. • Ability to navigate an online platform for QA process (will be trained). • Familiarity with xls. • A background in teaching, psychology, curriculum development, and instructional design is advantageous but not required. • Ability to work independently while managing multiple projects under tight deadlines.
