They are seeking a Senior Power Platform Security Engineer to enhance governance, security, and operational maturity within a Fortune 100 organization’s Power Platform environment, focusing on designing governance controls and improving security outcomes.ResponsibilitiesDesign and implement governance controls across Power Platform environmentsDevelop and maintain remediation playbooks aligned with enterprise security requirementsIdentify security, compliance, and governance gaps and drive remediation effortsSupport onboarding and operationalization of new security controlsImprove visibility into platform security posture through reporting, dashboards, and governance metricsBuild and maintain automation using PowerShell, REST APIs, Power Platform Admin APIs, Microsoft Graph, and related technologiesDevelop tooling to reduce manual governance and compliance activitiesCreate scalable workflows for policy enforcement, monitoring, remediation, and reportingSupport secure-by-default deployment and operational governance practicesPartner with security, engineering, compliance, and platform operations teamsTranslate business and security objectives into actionable technical solutionsFacilitate discussions, make recommendations, and help drive decisionsCommunicate progress, risks, and opportunities to technical and non-technical stakeholdersHelp establish repeatable governance processes and operating modelsReduce dependency on tribal knowledge through documentation and knowledge sharingIdentify opportunities to improve efficiency, automation, and scalabilityContribute to long-term governance and risk reduction strategiesSkills5+ years administering and securing Microsoft Power Platform environments in enterprise organizationsExperience designing and implementing governance programs for Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI, Dataverse, or related Microsoft platformsStrong understanding of: Power Platform Administration, Power BI Administration, Environment Strategy & Governance, Data Loss Prevention (DLP) Policies, Tenant Administration, Identity and Access Management, Security and Compliance ControlsExperience developing automation using: PowerShell, REST APIs, Microsoft Graph, Power Platform Admin APIsExperience implementing governance, remediation, and compliance workflowsExperience working directly with technical and business stakeholdersAbility to operate independently in ambiguous and evolving environmentsMicrosoft FabricZenity or similar low-code/no-code security platformsPower Platform Center of Excellence (CoE)Defender for Cloud AppsMicrosoft PurviewDataverse security architectureEnterprise governance and remediation reportingFortune 500 or large enterprise environmentsSecurity engineering, GRC, or compliance programsBenefitsMedical, dental, vision plans401(k) with matching3 weeks of Paid Time Off, PLUS 8 paid company holidays and 2 flexible holidays for anything you want to celebrate!Work/life balance – we know there’s more to life than work!
