Partners with physicians and offices to maintain pre- and post[1]implementation communicationMaintains and strengthens relationships with providers and stakeholders to promote collaboration and operational consistencyMonitors contract management and ensures payer contracts are uploaded timely and accurately in designated technology applications (e.g., Electronic Health Record (EHR) and partners with billing and payer strategiesSkillsMust possess a comprehensive knowledge of professional billing, as normally obtained through Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Management, Accounting, or a related field & / or 7-10 years of professional billing experienceExperience / knowledge of ASC's Revenue Cycle Management (RCM) processesExperience / knowledge of electronic practice management systemsKnowledge of practice management systems for billing & office procedures, managed care & insurance practices, insurance claims & billing processMedical Assistant (MA), Medical Group Management Association (MGMA), American Academy of Professional Coders (AAPC) or other healthcare certificationSix Sigma or LEAN certificationPrevious leadership in a related areaCompany OverviewTrinity Health is one of the largest multi-institutional Catholic health care delivery systems in the nation.
