[Remote] Consultant-level Engineer

They are seeking a Consultant-level Engineer to lead client projects and business development efforts within their environmental practice.ResponsibilitiesSupporting, performing or leading site characterization studies, feasibility studies, and engineering evaluations on contaminated soil, groundwater, and sediment remediation and drinking water treatment projectsPlanning and overseeing sampling of soil, groundwater, soil gas, sediment, and biotaProcuring and managing subcontractors (e.g., laboratories, drillers, sampling crews)Preparing design plans, specifications, and cost estimates for remedial actionsProviding support for permitting applicationsPerforming or overseeing construction quality assurance activitiesSupporting or leading litigation or allocation mattersManaging projects and tasksCommunicating technical information to varied audiences (e.g., clients, staff, regulators, and stakeholders), including writing technical reportsAssembling and leading multidisciplinary engineering teamsMentoring and collaborating with staff across business practicesSkillsM.S. or Ph.D. degree in environmental or civil engineering10+ years of professional experience in environmental investigation and remediationProfessional Engineer (PE) license, or an E.I.T. certification with the ability to obtain a PE license within 1 yearCurrent 40-hour OSHA HAZWOPER Training CertificationDemonstrated experience in the remedial investigation, design, and implementation process, including sampling plan development and implementation, data analysis, and remedy/process design and construction for one or more of the following media: soil, groundwater, sediment, indoor air, wastewater, or drinking waterExperience managing investigation and/or construction contractors at environmental remediation sitesExperience collecting and/or interpreting geotechnical sampling data in soil and/or sedimentExperience performing and/or interpreting groundwater, surface water, and/or stormwater modelingExperience supporting permitting applications for upland and sediment construction activities (e.g., under NPDES, Section 401/404, NEPA, etc.)Experience developing cost estimates for investigation and remedial actions in upland and sediment settingsWillingness to travelStrong familiarity with Microsoft Office productsExcellent written and oral communication skillsA desire to grow both intellectually and professionallyPossess strong organizational abilitiesAbility to work independently and within a multidisciplinary team of scientists and engineersBenefitsCompany-subsidized (employee and family) medical, dental, and vision insurance401(k) participation with a company match of 1% to 4% of annual compensationCompany-paid life and short- and long-term disability insurancePaid sick leave (10 days)Paid vacation (18 days)Paid holidays (9 days) per yearPotential for an annual discretionary bonus based on company performancePaid time off will be prorated to reflect part-time scheduled hours, if applicableCompany OverviewIntegral Consulting Inc. is a company that provides Environmental Consulting, engineering services and many other services.
