[Remote] Consultant - Defender & Sentinel

The Consultant - Defender & Sentinel role involves providing expert advisory services on technologies related to security, collaborating with customer teams, and establishing trusted advisor relationships to enhance security postures. Responsibilities • As a Customer Engineer, you will collaborate directly with customer teams to provide expert advisory services across a range of technologies • By leveraging structured engagements, you will establish trusted advisor relationships and guide customers towards achieving a healthy and secure state • Deliver onsite and remote services for MS Premier customers focused on MS Defender XDR, MS Sentinel, and Cloud Security • Provide proactive guidance on threat protection, SIEM/SOAR implementation, incident response, and compliance • Conduct risk assessments, security posture reviews, and architecture optimization for hybrid and cloud environments • Troubleshoot complex security issues and recommend workarounds or escalations as needed • Act as a trusted advisor, building strategic relationships with customer stakeholders from CIO to technical teams Skills • Deep technical knowledge in MS Security stack, including: MS Defender for Endpoint, Identity, Office 365, and Cloud Apps • MS Sentinel (SIEM/SOAR) – deployment, tuning, and advanced analytics • Azure Security Center, Azure AD, Conditional Access, Identity Protection • Experience with incident response, threat hunting, and security monitoring in enterprise environments • Strong troubleshooting skills and ability to resolve complex technical challenges Benefits • Medical insurance • Dental insurance • Vision insurance • 401(k) retirement plan • Long-term disability insurance • Short-term disability insurance • 5 personal days accrued each calendar year.
