As a Consultant in the Business Capability Team, you will lead business configuration validation, perform data validation, and recommend improvements to enhance operational efficiency. The role involves collaborating with various stakeholders to ensure technology solutions align with business strategies and deliver expected benefits.ResponsibilitiesLead business configuration validation for AWD changes to ensure workflows, routing, business rules, and task setup align with approved requirements and operational needsPerform data validation and troubleshooting to confirm expected outcomes, investigate issues, and support timely defect resolutionIdentify configuration defects, process gaps, and root causes, and recommend scalable, sustainable improvements that strengthen quality and reduce reworkSupport release readiness and production validation activities, including confirmation of release details, execution of validation tasks, and coordination with key AWD partnersContribute to process improvement and automation opportunities by recommending configuration changes that improve efficiency, consistency, and user experienceDemonstrate strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess business needs, interpret results, and guide sound solution decisionsBring experience with business process management and workflow automation tools such as SS&C AWD / Chorus or similar platformsApply knowledge of P&C insurance operations, with the ability to connect workflow and configuration decisions to business outcomesCommunicate effectively across business, product, and technical teams, with strong facilitation and stakeholder partnership skillsIdentify and Implement automation to improve test coverageCollaborates with Business Capability Owner on prioritization and develops requirements throughout the software development lifecycle to ensure business objectives and solution vision are being metConducts competitive analysis on customer, product landscape and business segment specific competitors across multiple lines of business and experiences. Presents findings and recommendations to Business Capability Managers and/or OwnersAssesses organizational impact for organizational change management planning. Coordinates communication and training and is accountable for overall business readiness. Provides recommendations to the Business Capability Manager and/or Owner and agile teamKeeps up on the latest industry trends as well as customer needs and behaviorsServes as a source of expertise for direction, mentoring and guidance for less experienced analystsParticipates in agile ceremonies, daily stand ups, show and tells, iteration planning and retrospectivesPartners with Business Capability Manager to define KPIs that measure effectiveness of the product and journey with customers.
