This role involves developing and maintaining broker relationships, providing tailored employee benefit solutions, and driving sales activities through effective communication and strategic planning.ResponsibilitiesBuild productive, long-lasting relationships by identifying and evaluating broker needs through education, advising, and growing brokersâ revenue with a consultative approachWork with brokers to develop insurance solutions that will meet their clientsâ needsUtilize various methods of communication as primary means of contacting and cultivating relationships to include in-person broker visits, presentations, in addition to phone and online communicationsLeverage company tools and technology (Salesforce, Employee Navigator, Ease, Benefix, Formfire) to enhance broker relationships and drive sales activitiesCreate territory/account plans including opportunity development, competitive strategies, and targetsIdentify and create new opportunities and work with sales leaders and cross functional teams to continuously increase prospect funnelUnderstand technology solutions available in the employee benefit marketplace including Benefit Administration systems and underwriting toolsTrack and communicate market trends to/from the field including competitor data and develop effective counter strategiesWork in a team environment that includes best-in-class back-office support and work to meet annual sales goals and company objectivesRepresent Amwins Connect by attending meetings, events, and training to maintain a competitive advantageConsult with brokers and carriers to provide underwriting information to the carrierDevelop deep relations with Amwins Connect carrier partnersSkillsProven sales experience with group medical or ancillary insurance experienceTrack record of over-achieving goalsSolutions-oriented mind-setExperience working with Salesforce.com or similar CRM, with strong knowledge of various sales techniques and pipeline managementCurrent Life & Health insurance licenseProficient in MS Office software, especially MS Outlook and ExcelEffective communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skillsSelf-motivated and achievement drivenExemplary time management skillsFirm grasp on ACA and local insurance marketsAbility to travel for internal conferences and/or trainingBenefitsEligibility for performance-based bonusesCompany OverviewAmWINS is an insurance company that provides brokerage services, small accounts, and underwriting solutions.
