[Remote] Configuration Management Analyst

The Configuration Management Analyst will be responsible for overseeing and maintaining IT configuration items, ensuring compliance with regulatory requirements, and supporting the integrity of enterprise assets through effective configuration tracking and change management.ResponsibilitiesAdminister and maintain Humana’s Configuration Management Database (CMDB), ensuring all assets, systems, and configurations are accurately recorded, tracked, and updated throughout their lifecycleDevelop, implement, and maintain configuration management processes and procedures to ensure accurate tracking of IT assets and system components throughout their lifecyclePerform regular audits and reconciliations of configuration items to identify discrepancies, unauthorized changes, or compliance gaps, and coordinate remediation effortsContribute to incident and problem management processes by providing accurate configuration data for root cause analysis and impact assessmentsDocument and maintain configuration management procedures, policies, standards (including naming, versioning, and baselining), and control narrativesWork closely with project and operations teams to ensure that configuration data supports business needs and project deliveryGenerate and distribute configuration management reports, dashboards, and metrics for leadership and stakeholdersAssist with troubleshooting and resolving configuration discrepancies, collaborating with relevant technical teams as neededParticipate in the development and delivery of training and awareness initiatives related to configuration management best practices, risk, and securitySupport IT asset management by maintaining accurate relationships between assets, configurations, and their dependenciesContribute to continuous improvement initiatives by recommending enhancements to configuration management tools, processes, and documentationSkillsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field, or equivalent work experience2+ years of experience in IT configuration managementStrong analytical, organizational, and documentation skillsExcellent communication and collaboration abilitiesExperience with ServiceNow or other IT Service Management (ITSM) platformsCIS – Data Foundations (CMDB and CSDM)Prior exposure to third-party risk management or cybersecurity programs in a healthcare or highly regulated environmentBenefitsThis job is eligible for a bonus incentive plan.
