Key Responsibilities:
Teach AP Computer Science Principles and AP Computer Science A with in-depth knowledge and expertise
Initiate, facilitate, and moderate engaging classroom discussions
Prepare comprehensive course materials, including syllabi, homework assignments, and handouts
Plan, evaluate, and revise curricula, course content, and methods of instruction to ensure exceptional learning experiences
Maintain regularly scheduled office hours to advise and assist students
Collaborate with colleagues to address teaching issues and continuously improve our education services
Positively reinforce student self-confidence and self-esteem, fostering a supportive learning environment
Requirements and Qualifications:
4-year undergraduate degree (BA, BS) or higher in Computer Science or a related field
2+ years of direct teaching or tutoring experience, with a proven track record of success
Availability to work weekday afternoons, evenings, and weekends
Proficiency in Java and Python programming languages
