American Airlines Group is seeking a Remote Communications Specialist to join our team in San Diego, California. Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement communication strategies to promote American Airlines Group's initiatives and projects
- Write and edit content for various communication channels, including press releases, social media posts, and internal communications
- Monitor and analyze media coverage and social media trends to identify opportunities for engagement
- Collaborate with internal teams to ensure consistent messaging and branding across all communication channels
- Assist in crisis communication efforts as needed
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and best practices in communication
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Communications, Public Relations, Marketing, or a related field
- 2+ years of experience in communications or a related field
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite and social media platforms
