[Remote] Commissioning Project Manager

This Project Manager will be responsible for the execution of assigned renewable power plant projects, focusing on commissioning, start-up, and operational turnover. The role involves ensuring high-quality commissioning activities and managing various personnel on site.ResponsibilitiesResponsible for ensuring commissioning activities for assigned projects are performed with high quality and adhering to all safety policiesResponsible for coordination and management of, EPC contractor personnel, OEM start up personnel, third party start up contractors, and operations personnel on site, as it relates to site commissioning and startupResponsible for project reliability at operational turnover with plants exhibiting as little lost time as necessary in initial operationResponsible for compliance with all projects contractual documents to include Power Purchase Agreement and Large Generator Interconnect Agreement deliverables with local utilityResponsible for oversight of commissioning personnel for multiple sites to ensure contractual obligations are met for all assigned projectsProvides Subject Matter Expertise and input into business unit strategic planning for safety, manpower, and quality and efficiency improvementInterfaces with project's designated safety, engineering, and quality control partiesPerforms other job-related duties as assignedSkills5 years' experience in on-site project support for renewable power generation project construction start up and commissioning3 years' experience minimum working for an EPC in renewable power generation project construction start up and commissioningProven track record and ability to interact with engineering personnel on highly technical issues, and then also interact with construction personnel on constructability, schedule, and cost issues as wellProven track record and ability to multi-task and oversee multiple projects at onceExperience interacting and building relationships with ISOsCompany OverviewInsight Global provides top talent and staffing solutions that help job seekers find careers in healthcare, finance, IT, and government.
