[Remote] Commercial Product Analyst - Property Lines

The Commercial Product Analyst will provide strategic thought leadership on various property lines of business, developing insurance programs that respond to emerging market issues and changes in business environments.ResponsibilitiesIdentify and suggest product solutions and enhancements that respond to emerging issues in the property lines to ManagementServe as a strategic leader by analyzing coverage, market, legal, and regulatory trends to inform product decisions and improvementsLead the technical and conceptual development of ISO policy forms and endorsements. This will include drafting policy wordingPartner with Law, Actuarial, and Coverage teams on product developmentCoordinate with ISO marketing to promote product changesResearch and present ISO panel itemsCommunicate ISO activities to customers and industry stakeholdersTake an active role in the organization and development of property multi-state filingsOrganizing commercial property panel meetings including compiling, organizing and distributing agendas and minutesFacilitate legal review of product changes and enhancements; andWork with the actuarial department as necessarySkillsBachelor's degree or equivalent experienceMinimum 5 to 10 years P&C insurance experience with strong knowledge of coverages in Commercial Property, Inland Marine and/or Output Policy lines of business required including robust knowledge of market, industry, and competitor trendsExcellent development and analysis of policy forms requiredProven research and analytical skillsPro-active problem solverDetail orientedExcellent verbal and written communication skillsExperience building great internal or external customer relationships that focus on gaining actionable insights and forming collaborative partnerships with the goal of innovation, product improvement, or ease of useSome travel may be required (up to 15%)CPCU, other industry designations, or law degree a plusBenefitsHealth InsuranceA Retirement PlanDisability benefitsA Paid Time Off programCompany OverviewVerisk Analytics is a data analytics and risk assessment firm for the insurance sector.
