MCG Energy Solutions, LLC is seeking a Commercial Operations Manager responsible for overseeing daily commercial activities and process improvement initiatives. The role focuses on driving revenue growth, managing the Commercial team, and ensuring operational consistency across various departments.ResponsibilitiesImplement, manage, and enhance sales management tools (HubSpot and more)Manage sales metricsDrive revenue growth and accountability of core metricsResearch, review and approve pricing structuresManage industry awareness expansion initiatives, including conference attendance and positioningManage strategic growth initiativesPromote brand awarenessOversight of marketing initiativesLiaison to bridge Sales activities with Marketing, Delivery/Care and Finance to ensure operational consistencyReporting and presenting sales plans and results to Finance, Executives, Board and other parties as necessaryServe as a credible senior leader on investor calls, telling a compelling story of MCG’s value, backed by defendable core metricsFinancial oversight responsibility of budget and targetsEnsure all commercial activities comply with legal standards, company policies, and, if applicable, licensing regulationsPeople and Performance management of Commercial teamSkillsProven track record of driving revenue growth and achieving sales targetsExcellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skillsAbility to think strategically while executing tactically in a fast-paced environmentStrong analytical skills with the ability to translate data into actionable insightsStrategic thinking and planningFinancial acumen and budgeting skillsStrong understanding of digital marketing, demand generation, and marketing automation tools7+ Years of Sales Management experience in a SaaS environment, Energy Industry experience preferredDeep knowledge of B2B enterprise SaaS sales cycles and customer lifecycle managementWholesale Energy Markets and Industry knowledge a plusHigh-level client-facing and internal communication skillsProfessional phone skills and superior email habitsSuperior meeting management and participation skills, to include clients and executivesStrong personal organization and project management skills, proven ability to manage multiple projects at a time, while paying strict attention to detailDemonstrable ability to communicate, present and influence credibly and effectively at all levels of the organization, including executive and C-levelMust be able to convey essential information clearly and concisely to clients, peers, and leadership, both in writing and verballyExcellent listening, negotiation and presentation skillsMust be willing to represent the company in public forums and present a professional image in conduct and personal presentationSolid working knowledge of all products in the Microsoft Office suite.
