[Remote] Commercial Lines Senior Account Manager

The role involves managing client relationships, advising on coverage options, and ensuring high-level client engagement while overseeing a book of business.ResponsibilitiesManage primary client relationship and development of customer service plan. Maintain a focus on growth and retention of assigned book of businessEstablish and maintain a high level of trust with clients through consistent contact and proactive resolution of any actionable serving items, questions or concernsInitiate client meeting to strategize for the renewal marketing process. Advise on the best coverage alternativesAble to review ownership and management contracts, property leases and other contractual documents to gather important information and insurance requirements for compliance purposesWill discuss and negotiate coverage and related pricing with carriers and wholesalers based on in depth understanding of client’s exposures and historical claimsPrepare renewal submission based on strategy client meeting results, including loss analysis, changes in exposure/operations and recommended coverage options. Conduct renewal presentation with clients either individually or with other members of the teamStrong knowledge of Marketing/Underwriting Process including selecting appropriate markets based on appetite, presenting the clients operational story in the best light to the underwriter, summarizing historical claims, documenting carrier clearance. Continuing high-level and consistent carrier/wholesale communication to obtain the most comprehensive quote by the target timelineBe a strategic negotiator to obtain comprehensive coverage and most competitive premiumDevelop strong relationships with business partners including carrier underwriters, wholesalers and any other professional service providersSet priorities and manage workflow and timelines to ensure goals are metDocument correspondence, electronic documents and all pending activities wit in the Management Operating SystemEngage and encourage consistent professional communication with clients, carriers and staffProvide consistent and clear guidance to the associate account manager or other support staff. Oversight and sign off of all client servicing tasks, Pre-Renewal and Post-binding work that the assigned associate is accountable forStay informed with industry insurance information, training, new available markets or technologies and changing legislation affecting the eldercare industryInclusive engagement of the assigned associate with client virtual and/or phone calls in order for the entire team to understand next steps and outcomesStrong communication and proactive engagement with the assigned associate in order to foster high level of collaboration and a learning environmentSkillsProperty and casualty insurance license upon hire is requiredIdeally 5+ years Property Casualty servicing experienceHS Diploma or equivalent is requiredDemonstrated in-depth knowledge of insurance coverages and an ability to communicate this knowledge clearly to clients and underwritersStrong written, verbal and negotiation skillsAbility to prioritize and self-manage workloadAdvanced MS Office skills, to include Excel, Word, PowerpointProfessional designations preferred/helpful (CIC, AAI, CISR, CPIA)BA/BS degree is preferredEPIC experience is preferred, but will consider other agency management system experienceBenefitsPTO & paid holidays401(k) with matchExclusive discount programsHealth & wellness programsPerformance-based incentivesCompany OverviewNFP, an Aon company, helps companies and individuals address today’s most significant Risk Capital and Human Capital challenges.
