[Remote] Commercial Lines Account Manager - Insurance

In this role, you will process daily office operations for a commercial insurance agency focused on serving the self-storage industry, working closely with Sales, IT, and Management to enhance customer experience.ResponsibilitiesProcess applications, prepare quotes & proposals, issue policies, certificates, endorsements, billing, acord forms, policy changes to clientsManage assigned book of businessGather necessary information to process insurance renewals and new businessAssist with claim processingExplain products, services, premiums, and answer questions from prospects and customersMaintain product knowledgeMaintain the Applied EPIC Agency Management System records in an up-to-date mannerHandle premium financing, collecting policy premiums and processing to carriersIdentify and address the client’s needs and fill any coverage or policy gaps that are recognizedSkillsApplied Epic Experience (Commercial Insurance)Property & Casualty License; accreditations are desirable (CISR, CIC, CRM, CPIA…)3+ years experience in commercial insuranceSuperior organizational skillsSelf-starter – ability to work independentlyExceptional verbal communication skillsGood familiarity with office software applications – G Suite knowledge is a plus; Microsoft Office, including Microsoft ExcelKnowledge of common business structuresOrganizational skills, including maintaining statement of valuesDetail orientedComfortable working in a fast-paced environmentDedicated to completing tasks in a timely mannerAbility and desire to learn new thingsBenefitsGenerous health coverage for you and your family, including fully paid short- and long-term disability coverage and two-times base salary life insurance.401(k) match after 60 days, 100% vested after 1 year.Employer contribution to your HSA, plus an HRA to help offset your deductible.Instant access to flexible vacation.
