[Remote] Commercial Insurance Broker, Growth
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Coverdash is the fastest growing startup and SMB focused-insurtech agency, powered by advanced embedded technology. In this role, you will support small to medium sized commercial clients by quoting and rating new business opportunities and selling commercial insurance solutions.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Sell Property & Casualty (P&C) commercial insurance to small and mid-sized businesses
ā¢ Quote, rate, and place new business by working with carriers and wholesale partners
ā¢ Manage leads and daily outreach through our CRM to drive pipeline and close opportunities
ā¢ Advise clients on risk exposures and recommend tailored coverage solutions
ā¢ Collaborate with internal brokers and underwriters to secure optimal placements
ā¢ Drive new policy sales and hand off bound accounts to account management for a seamless client experience
Skills
ā¢ 3-5 years of commercial insurance experience, with strong exposure to E&S lines
ā¢ Active P&C license in good standing
ā¢ Proven ability to manage high volumes of inbound submissions and warm transfers
ā¢ Hands-on experience rating, quoting, and placing business across multiple E&S and admitted carriers
ā¢ Strong written and verbal communication skills with a consultative, client-first approach
ā¢ Self-starter with a track record of driving results in a fast paced, high growth environment
ā¢ Highly organized with excellent time management skills
ā¢ Comfortable learning and navigating new technology, carrier portals, and underwriting systems
ā¢ Experience using CRM/AMS platforms and comparative rating tools
ā¢ Experience in insurtech, an MGA, E&S underwriting, or a startup environment
