We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented REMOTE CODING SPECIALIST III to join our team. Key Responsibilities • Review and analyze medical records to ensure accurate coding and billing procedures. • Assign appropriate codes using ICD-10, CPT, and HCPCS coding systems. • Collaborate with healthcare providers to clarify any discrepancies in documentation. • Maintain coding accuracy and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations. • Stay updated on coding guidelines, regulations, and new developments in the field. • Prepare and submit coding reports for review by management. • Participate in team meetings to discuss best practices and coding updates. What You'll Bring • Bachelor's Degree in Health Information Management or a related field. • Proven experience in medical coding, preferably at least 3 years. • Certification through a recognized body (e.g., AHIMA, AAPC) is preferred. • Proficiency in medical coding software and electronic health record (EHR) systems. • Strong understanding of healthcare regulations and compliance standards. • Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.
