[Remote] Cloud Network & Security Engineer

Dice is seeking a skilled Cloud Network Security Engineer with strong expertise in public cloud networking and next-generation firewall technologies. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience in designing, implementing, and troubleshooting cloud-based network infrastructures along with strong knowledge of network security.ResponsibilitiesDesign, implement, and manage cloud networking architectures across platforms like Azure, AWS, or Google Cloud PlatformDeploy, configure, and support Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW) (e.g., Palo Alto, Check Point, or cloud-native firewalls)Manage and troubleshoot application delivery controllers / load balancers (F5, Radware, or equivalents)Handle end-to-end network security operations, including implementation, upgrades, and troubleshootingConfigure and troubleshoot cloud networking components, such as: Load balancers (L4/L7), Route tables, Transit gateways / Virtual WAN, Hybrid connectivity solutionsPerform network troubleshooting across cloud and on-prem environmentsCollaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure secure and scalable cloud deploymentsSkillsStrong experience in Public Cloud Networking (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud Platform - at least one mandatory)Hands-on experience with Next-Generation Firewalls (NGFW)Good understanding of network security principlesExperience with load balancing and application delivery controllers (F5, Radware, or similar)MPLS basic knowledge is required along with Routing and Switching basics (L2/L3)Experience with network troubleshooting tools (ping, traceroute, etc.)Experience with hybrid cloud networking architecturesExposure to SD-WANCertifications such as: AWS / Azure Networking certifications, Palo Alto / Network Security certificationsCompany OverviewDice is the go-to career marketplace for tech professionals.
