[Remote] Cloud Network Design Engineer

They are seeking a Cloud Network Design Engineer to lead the development of next-generation network solutions, collaborating with various teams and ensuring best practices in network standards.ResponsibilitiesEstablish and maintain regular communication with peers, architects, engineering, deployment, operations teams, supplier management, and vendors regarding required network infrastructure changes and improvement opportunitiesWork with senior engineers to participate in and lead the development of next-generation network solutions in the assigned domain (e.g., SDN/NFV, SDWAN, WAN, cloud-enabled remote access, Secure Access Service Edge, network security, NG firewalls, identity and access management best practices, cloud networking, etc.), including appropriate documentation, templates, use cases, and acceptance testingConsult with senior engineers and management on best practices for network standards, including providing supporting documentation and training to regional support teamsCollaborate with the Automation and Tools Engineering team to assist in developing scripts for automated configuration deploymentDevelop and execute the release management plan, including documentation updates, validation testing, and communication of new code versions to relevant teamsProvide knowledge transfer sessions to peer organizations and suppliers regarding changes in procedures, processes, documentation, and frameworksSkillsBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or related field5 years of experience in the job offered or in a Cloud Network Design Engineer-related occupationBenefitsEmployees are eligible to participate in the Company’s consolidated retirement plan (pension) and savings plan (401(k))Vacation - 120 hours per calendar yearSick time - 40 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Colorado - 48 hours per calendar year; for employees who reside in the State of Washington - 56 hours per calendar yearHoliday pay, including Floating Holidays - 13 days per calendar yearWork, Personal and Family Time - up to 40 hours per calendar yearParental Leave - 480 hours within one year of the birth/adoption/foster care of a childBereavement Leave - 240 hours for an immediate family member: 40 hours for an extended family member per calendar yearCaregiver Leave - 80 hours in a 52-week rolling period - 10 daysVolunteer Leave - 32 hours per calendar yearMilitary Spouse Time-Off - 80 hours per calendar yearThis position is eligible to participate in the Company’s long-term incentive programThis position is eligible for benefits to include medical, dental, vision and time off, as well as any others as provided for in the applicable Collective Bargaining AgreementCompany OverviewAt Johnson & Johnson, we believe health is everything.
