[Remote] Cloud / Infrastructure Engineer

The Cloud / Infrastructure Engineer will build the platform for Azure environments and support modernization efforts for health system partners, ensuring a robust infrastructure for AI products.ResponsibilitiesProvision Azure environments for modernization engagements: VNets, subnets, NSGs, private endpointsDeploy and configure Azure Databricks workspaces, ADLS2 storage accounts, and compute clustersBuild and maintain IaC (Terraform/Bicep) for repeatable infrastructure provisioningConfigure managed identities, RBAC, and security controls per engagement requirementsSet up networking for data connectivity (Delta Share, Fabric External Sharing, SFTP endpoints)Support the Client Integration team with tenant provisioning patterns and infrastructure guidanceDocument infrastructure configurations and maintain runbooksSkills3-6 years in cloud infrastructure, DevOps, or platform engineering rolesDeep Azure experience: ARM/Bicep or Terraform, VNet design, private endpoints, managed identities, RBACDatabricks workspace deployment and configuration experienceNetworking fundamentals: DNS, firewalls, peering, private linkBachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Data Science, Mathematics, or related technical fieldADLS2 provisioning and managementSecurity-conscious infrastructure design: experience with HIPAA infrastructure requirementsHealthcare or regulated industry infrastructure experienceExperience building infrastructure for data platforms (not just web applications)Familiarity with Delta Share, Fabric External Sharing, or similar data connectivity protocolsIaC Discipline: Your infrastructure code is version-controlled, tested, modular, and reusable — you don't click through portalsSecurity Mindset: You think about security at every layer — network isolation, identity management, encryption, access controlsSystematic Approach: You build infrastructure that can be reproduced for the next engagement, not one-off environments that require tribal knowledge to maintainTroubleshooting: When connectivity fails between a VNet and a Databricks workspace, you know where to look and how to diagnose it quicklyCross-Team Collaboration: You'll work alongside data engineers, modernization leads, and integration teams — you need to speak their languageBenefitsEquity packagesRobust medical/dental/vision insuranceFlexible working hoursHybrid work optionsAn inclusive environment that fosters creativity and innovationThis role is also eligible for equity and benefits.Company OverviewQualified Health develops artificial intelligence tools that support clinical decision-making and patient care management.
