Dice is a global enterprise looking for a hands-on DevOps / Cloud Infrastructure Engineer to assist in transitioning from a legacy data-integration tool to a solution built on Google Cloud Platform. The role involves building and configuring Google Cloud Platform landing zones, developing reusable infrastructure templates, and implementing established architecture standards across multiple regions.ResponsibilitiesBuild and configure Google Cloud Platform landing zones across multiple regions (Germany, Japan, and the EU), with data-residency requirements as a first-class constraintDevelop reusable Infrastructure as Code (Terraform) modules and templates that internal teams can spin up and self-serve in their own environmentsImplement the Google Cloud Platform-native infrastructure that replaces the retiring data-integration toolingApply established architecture standards and patterns consistently across regionsConfigure Google Cloud Platform networking, IAM, and security guardrails to enable least-privilege, self-service provisioningBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure deliveryDocument templates and standards for downstream implementation teamsSkillsStrong, current, hands-on Google Cloud Platform experience - this is a build roleProduction-grade Terraform (or equivalent IaC), including reusable module/template design for self-service consumptionSolid Google Cloud Platform networking and IAM (custom roles, service accounts, least-privilege design)Multi-region deployment experience with an understanding of data-residency / data-sovereignty controlsCI/CD for infrastructureAbility to work independently against an established pattern and deliver within a short, focused engagementGoogle Cloud Platform data-integration / pipeline services (Dataflow, Cloud Composer/Airflow, Pub/Sub, Data Fusion)Familiarity with SnapLogic or similar iPaaS/ETL tooling (helpful for understanding what's being replaced)Experience supporting manufacturing or other compliance-sensitive domainsExposure to EU and/or Japan data-protection requirementsCompany OverviewDice is the go-to career marketplace for tech professionals.
