Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Booker DiMaio is seeking a Cloud Engineer (AWS) to support a federal Enterprise Data Platform modernization initiative. The selected candidate will build, automate, deploy, and support cloud-native infrastructure and platform services across AWS environments, focusing on automation and continuous improvement activities.ResponsibilitiesImplement and support AWS cloud infrastructure and platform servicesDevelop and maintain Infrastructure as Code solutions utilizing TerraformBuild and maintain CI/CD pipelines utilizing GitHub Actions and related DevSecOps toolsSupport deployment, configuration, and administration of AWS services including EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and VPCAutomate operational processes, system provisioning, monitoring, and maintenance activitiesSupport platform operations, troubleshooting, incident response, and performance optimization effortsCollaborate with architects, data engineers, and cybersecurity specialists to implement secure and scalable solutionsMonitor platform health, availability, and resource utilization across cloud environmentsDevelop and maintain technical documentation, operational procedures, and deployment standardsSkillsBachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related fieldMinimum five (5) years of experience supporting cloud engineering, systems engineering, or platform operationsMinimum three (3) years of experience supporting AWS environmentsExperience with Terraform, Infrastructure as Code, and cloud automation toolsExperience supporting CI/CD pipelines and DevSecOps practicesExperience with AWS services including EKS, Lambda, S3, IAM, CloudWatch, and VPCStrong troubleshooting, analytical, and problem-solving skillsStrong verbal and written communication skillsPrevious experience with a government client is requiredAWS Certified Solutions Architect Associate certificationAWS Certified Developer Associate certificationAWS Certified SysOps Administrator certificationExperience supporting federal government or highly regulated environmentsExperience supporting Databricks platforms and data engineering environmentsExperience with Kubernetes, containerization, and EKS administrationFamiliarity with FedRAMP, FISMA, and NIST security frameworksCompany OverviewMinority-owned Software Development & Computer Engineering Firm, delivering tailored solutions to Federal and Commercial Customers.
