[Remote] Cloud Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Express Employment International is seeking a highly skilled and experienced Cloud Engineer to join their dynamic team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cloud computing and will be responsible for designing, developing, and maintaining cloud-based solutions while ensuring the security and scalability of cloud infrastructure.
Responsibilities
ā¢ Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based solutions using providers such as AWS and Azure
ā¢ Ensure the security, reliability, and scalability of cloud infrastructure
ā¢ Collaborate with development teams to integrate cloud services with applications
ā¢ Automate deployment processes using infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible, or ARM templates
ā¢ Manage CI/CD pipelines and implement DevOps practices
ā¢ Troubleshoot and resolve issues in cloud environments
Skills
ā¢ Proven experience as a Cloud Engineer or in a similar role
ā¢ Strong background in cloud computing, particularly with AWS and Azure
ā¢ In-depth knowledge of cloud architecture and services, including compute, storage, networking, and security components
ā¢ Proficiency in scripting languages such as Python, Bash, or PowerShell
ā¢ Experience with infrastructure-as-code tools such as Terraform, CloudFormation, Ansible or ARM templates
ā¢ Familiarity with CI/CD pipelines and DevOps practices
ā¢ Understanding of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
ā¢ Strong problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
ā¢ Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey technical information to both technical and non-technical audiences
ā¢ Relevant cloud-related certifications, such as AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, are highly desirable
