Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Client Resources, Inc. is seeking a Cloud Platform Engineer to help advance their cloud infrastructure. The role involves designing, building, and scaling secure cloud environments while collaborating with various teams to streamline delivery and achieve the organization's cloud vision.ResponsibilitiesBuild and manage stable secure cloud infrastructure/networking using cloud orchestration capabilities, scripting languages and APIs to design, code, test, implement and support Infrastructure as Code (IaC) for Public CloudEnable other development teams to achieve the organization’s cloud vision through serving as the cloud subject matter expert and providing excellent trouble shooting and guidanceConfiguration of common cloud platform services in the production environmentCreate and maintain shared libraries and services used throughout the departmentCollaborate to uncover pain points and formulate ways to accelerate deliverySkills5+ years of hands-on development experience using an object-oriented language (TypeScript preferred)Infrastructure as a Code (Preferred: AWS CDK, Cloud Formation)Containerization with Docker (Preferred: Kubernetes, Elastic Container Service (ECS), Fargate)Databases (Preferred: Postgres, RDS Aurora, MongoDB)Message/Data Streaming (Preferred: AWS MSK, Kafka)GitHub, GitHub Actions, Git for version controlExperience building/managing cloud services by automating/orchestrating complex processes using Infrastructure as Code (IaC) within a single cloud environmentExperience with distributed cloud platform configuration, deployment, and lifecycle management automation toolsUnderstanding of security and compliance for a cloud environmentYou promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you doAble to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United StatesStrong interpersonal communication with both technical and nontechnical audiencesPrior experience with cloud platform governance or enablement initiativesProficiency in Software Engineering and best practicesAI experience a plusCompany OverviewCRi is the technology partner business leaders turn to when they want IT Talent and Solutions — from the conventional to the cutting edge.
