[Remote] Cloud Engineer

The Cloud Engineer is responsible for supporting and maintaining network, cloud, and infrastructure systems with a strong emphasis on AWS networking and firewall management, ensuring the reliability, performance, and security of infrastructure across AWS and on-premises environments.ResponsibilitiesSupport and manage Multi Account AWS cloud environments, including but not limited to VPC, EC2, Route 53 and other Core AWS ServicesManage and support AWS and Onsite network infrastructure, including routing, connectivity, and firewall configurationsAdminister and maintain Palo Alto firewalls, including policy management, VPNs, and security configurationsMonitor system and network performance, respond to alerts and participate in incident response and on-call rotationTroubleshoot infrastructure, network, and cloud-related issues across environmentsAssist with infrastructure deployments, changes, and upgrades in collaboration with engineering teamsContribute to automation and process improvements to enhance operational efficiencyMaintain documentation of configurations, processes, and proceduresSkills5+ years of experience in infrastructure, networking, or cloud engineering rolesStrong knowledge of networking fundamentals (TCP/IP, DNS, routing, VPNs, etc.)Hands-on experience with Palo Alto firewallsExperience working with AWS core services (VPC, EC2, CloudWatch, Route 53)Must have AWS certification(s)Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skillsExperience with Linux system administrationExposure to Windows server environmentsFamiliarity with GitLab and Atlassian tools (Jira, Confluence, Tempo)Experience with infrastructure monitoring and alerting toolsBasic scripting or automation experience (e.g., Bash, Python, PowerShell)BenefitsOnyx offers a variety of benefits to support a competitive total compensation package.You will work in an international and fast paced growing environment full of learning opportunities.We are committed to an inclusive and equitable hiring process.Candidates are evaluated based on skills, experience, and potential, without regard to protected characteristics, and in alignment with our hiring procedures and business needs.Travel for this position is less than 10%.This position is hybrid in office and remote.This position requires participation in an on-call rotation.Company OverviewOnyx CenterSource is the processor of payment disbursement and reconciliation solutions.
