[Remote] Cloud Engineer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Red Oak Technologies is seeking a Cloud Engineer (Developer Experience) to help scale modern cloud infrastructure and improve developer workflows. This hands-on role focuses on building reliable, reusable, and secure systems across multi-cloud environments.
ā¢ Responsibilities
ā¢ Build and maintain standardized Terragrunt structures across accounts, regions, and environments
ā¢ Refactor and migrate Terraform stacks and state with minimal downtime and drift
ā¢ Develop and scale Ansible automation for system provisioning and application deployment
ā¢ Design secure, multi-cloud architectures using RBAC and least-privilege access
ā¢ Manage Kubernetes deployments using Helm, Kustomize, Tanka, or Jsonnet
ā¢ Enhance CI/CD and GitOps workflows (GitHub Actions, self-hosted runners, Jenkins)
ā¢ Integrate cloud platforms with tools like Slack, Jira, and internal automation systems
ā¢ Skills
ā¢ Must be a U.S. Citizen or Green Card holder (no exceptions)
ā¢ Strong experience with Terragrunt + Terraform (structuring, refactoring, state management)
ā¢ Proven experience with Ansible at scale for automation and configuration management
ā¢ Hands-on experience running Kubernetes workloads (AWS, GCP, or Azure)
