PaceMate® is a company focused on clinical quality assurance, and they are seeking a Clinical QA Specialist to support quality assurance initiatives across the clinical team. The role involves conducting audits, collaborating with leadership to address quality issues, and driving continuous improvement efforts to enhance operational efficiency and patient outcomes.ResponsibilitiesConduct quality assurance activities to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and standardsPerform audits and inspections to identify areas for improvement and ensure adherence to protocolsCollaborate with clinical leadership to address quality issuesContinuously monitor and evaluate quality metrics to drive process improvements and enhance patient outcomesContribute to quality improvement initiatives and KPI-driven projects as directed by clinical leadershipProcess remote transmissions as needed to support team volume, while maintaining proficiency in device software, clinical knowledge, and documentation standardsPerform additional duties as assignedMaintain confidentiality of sensitive information and follow all Health Insurance Portability and Accountability Act (HIPAA) and Protected Health Information (PHI) standards/protocolSupport and contribute to PaceMate™’s patient-centered care philosophy: Every teammate is a caregiver whose role is to meet the needs of the patientSkillsBachelor's degree in a relevant field (e.g., healthcare, life sciences, engineering)Successful completion of a cardiac device rhythm management course or equivalent experienceMinimum of 3 years of recent cardiac device management experienceExperience with interrogating and interpreting device diagnostics for all 4 major manufacturers (Medtronic, Abbott/St. Jude, Boston Scientific, Biotronik)International Board of Heart Rhythm Examiners (IBHRE) Certification (CCDS, CEPS, or CDRMS) requiredProven experience in clinical quality assurance within the healthcare industryStrong knowledge of regulatory requirements, such as Medicare reimbursement guidelines and ISO standardsExcellent analytical skills and attention to detailEffective communication and interpersonal abilities to collaborate with multidisciplinary teamsProficiency with collaboration applications and software (Microsoft Office Suite, Teams, Slack)Must legally be eligible to work in the United StatesGeographic restriction: Must reside and work exclusively within the contiguous United StatesCompany OverviewPaceMate is the market-leading, tech-enabled cardiac device monitoring platform serving integrated delivery networks and academic health systems nationwide.
