[Remote] Clinical Project Manager

Crinetics Pharmaceuticals is seeking a Clinical Project Manager responsible for timeline and budget management for assigned clinical studies. The role involves collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to support the successful planning, execution, and delivery of clinical trials while managing study budgets and risks.ResponsibilitiesDevelop, maintain, and manage high-quality, detailed clinical study timelines that align with program and corporate goalsInterface regularly with study teams and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure accurate coordination and visibility of key activitiesProspectively identify timeline risks, proactively communicate risks to management, internal stakeholders, and CRO partners, and support implementation of mitigation strategiesCollaborate with internal functional groups to support study milestones and overall program executionManage routine study status reporting, including timeline and budget dashboards and management updatesProvide monthly milestone and timeline updates to Project and Portfolio Management for entry into corporate project management systemsPartner with Project and Portfolio Management to update resource demand and supply information on a regular basisDevelop program scenario plans and support lifecycle management activities as neededDevelop and manage study budgets, including monthly forecasting and routine budget reviews in collaboration with Clinical Trial Operations and FinanceFacilitate and oversee cost accrual activities to ensure accurate and consistent financial reporting across Crinetics-sponsored clinical trialsAnalyze forecasted and accrued costs to produce summary views of study financial healthPartner with Finance to review accrued costs versus forecasts, investigate variances, and review overall study spend using purchase order and invoice dataProvide functional guidance and support to Associate Clinical Project Managers as neededOther duties as assignedSkillsBachelor's in related discipline required; a combination of relevant education and applicable job experience may be considered7 years of related experience in a CRO, Biotech or Pharmaceutical organization with 2 years of experience in a supervisory roleSolid understanding of drug development and clinical operationsExcellent organizational and time management skills and strong attention to detail, with proven ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently and effectivelyExcellent computer skills including advanced knowledge in MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint and OutlookMust be a self-starter who works with minimal supervisionWorks effectively in a matrix cross-functional environmentGood business judgment and a strong understanding of the unique aspects of clinical financialsExcellent communication skills, (verbal and written) including the ability to understand and present budget information effectivelyWorks with high sense of accountability/urgencyExperience supporting complex, multi‑study clinical programsExperience working closely with Finance and Project and Portfolio Management functionsBenefitsA discretionary annual target bonusStock optionsESPP401k matchTop-notch health insurance plans for employees (and their families) to include medical, dental, vision and basic life insurance20 days of PTO10 paid holidaysA winter company shutdownCompany OverviewCrinetics is a clinical-stage pharmaceutical company that develops therapies for people with rare endocrine diseases.
