The role involves delivering scientific, administrative, and operational support for SCRI Research Programs, focusing on enhancing program objectives through collaborative project execution.ResponsibilitiesBuilds and maintains working relationships across the organization relevant to the roleLeads disease program related meetings with oversight from Associate Director, as appropriateAttends and supports Physician Program Director 1:1 meetings, as appropriate (determined by Associate Director or Director)Utilizes tools to track and identify study gapsAwareness of protocol amendments and changes which affect patient eligibility/IP/treatment schedule/etcCollaborates with clinical program associate on one-page study summary updates; reviews document for accuracyResponsible for slide deck creation for internal audiences; may present information to internal teams as applicableSupports executive committee meetings by sending agenda & meeting summary emailsPrepares all other applicable content to support meetingCompletes Lead Template grid, and presents Leads during meetingCollaborates and interacts with cross-functional teams to help facilitate the lead evaluation and management process ex. Lead Management, Study Activation and Clinical Operations teamsMaintains records and documents decisions from Leads Meetings (disease, sponsor, and site level)Participates in calls and meetings with sponsor/CRO as neededProvides support for Investigator-Initiated Trials (IITs) via established processesSupports proposals for RFPs and Accelero trials in coordination with Personalized medicine and Development InnovationsAssists with scientific slide deck creation for SCRI related use by Program DirectorDevelops subject matter knowledge and expertiseConducts scientific literature search as requestedAssists Marketing Team with program related requestsResponsible for maintenance of Program dashboardsAssists with study specific emails to sitesAssists with FDA approval emailsPerform special projects and related work as required in support of the program(s)SkillsPhD strongly preferred5+ years working in a scientific capacity within clinical researchOncology experience and clinical research (phase I β IV) experience requiredAbility to pull scientific literature to support research projectsWillingness to develop disease-specific and drug development expertise required to support a SCRI Research ProgramAbility to work in cross-functional, multi-cultural teamsExcellent time management skillsStrong organizational skills and ability to re-prioritize tasks as necessaryStrong verbal and written communication skillsStrong ability to function in a dynamic environment and adapt to changing needs of programHighly resourcefulBenefitsWe care about the well-being of the patients and communities we serve, and that starts with caring for our people.
