[Remote] Clinical Outsourcing Analyst

TRIO - Translational Research in Oncology is a global academic clinical research organization dedicated to advancing translational cancer research in the clinical trial setting. They are looking for a Clinical Outsourcing Analyst to support the Finance team in managing budgets and compliance for Third Party Organizations involved in clinical trials. Responsibilities Supports the design and maintenance of Clinical Outsourcing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs)/Procedures, activity trackers, tools (budget templates, budget review tools, etc) Provides oversight of Third Party Organizations (TPOs) budgets, including monthly review of TPO activities Forecast budget reconciliation and negotiation of change orders, as required under the supervisor’s guidance, such as: Ensures compliance with TRIO standard operating procedures (SOPs) pertaining to contracts and budgets associated to the services provided by Third Parties Organizations (TPOs) Be knowledgeable of contract terms and conducts ongoing monthly review of the TPO activities to determine compliance to the contract and budget specifications Participates in negotiation of change orders and performs budget amendments as required or as directed by the Global Coordinator Reviews the billing information for compliance and accuracy prior to submitting to the finance department for processing Negotiates Master Service Agreement (MSA) and creates standard budget grids with the TPO’s with direction from the supervisor Performs quality control on TPO file and works with COU Specialist to resolve issues or discrepancies and reaches out to parties involved for additional information when necessary Skills A minimum of 1 year of experience with Clinical Trials and working knowledge of Good Clinical Practices (GCP) Experience working with contracts and the ability to negotiate contracts Demonstrate high attention to detail, accuracy, and thoroughness Ability to take initiative, be flexible, exercise good judgment, and interface with all levels of management Excellent written and oral communication skills Must be legally authorized to work in the country A bachelor's degree (in Accounting, Business, Commerce or Life Sciences) Knowledge of budgeting processes Benefits Annual compensation review with opportunities for professional growth 3 weeks of vacation plus paid December Holiday Closure 10 days paid personal/sick time 1 paid volunteer day / year A top tier, comprehensive Health / Medical plan for you and your family – Monthly premiums paid for by TRIO Up to 5% matching 401(k) Program Flexible working hours to promote work-life balance Monthly Internet Allowance to support working from home Remote work arrangements anywhere across the USA and receive a one-time home office allowance Out-of-country Work: Employees can request to work internationally for a short period of time each year Employee Family Assistance Program to support you and your family during difficult times Employee Recognition Program to reward long-term employees Employee Referral Bonus Program Company Overview TRIO is an academic clinical research organization that is dedicated to advancing translational cancer research.
