The Clinical Operations Director for Occupational Health is responsible for ensuring patient safety, clinical quality, and provider management while supporting site leaders and driving clinical outcomes.ResponsibilitiesLeads site providers by interviewing provider candidates and collaborating with operations on hiring decisions and participates in on-boarding of new providersDrives clinical outcomes and supports site teams on delivery of PG measures and clinical metricsPerforms proactive auditing & evaluation of site occupational health services and supports the development & execution of action plansPartners with the NMD OH and Product in the execution of provider support programming such as mentoring calls, Occ Health RCL calls, and developing special subject-area contentDirects providers and health center leaders in matters related to clinical operations and regulatory complianceAssists operations leaders and HR Business Partner with the preparation of formal and informal performance reviews and improvement plans, to include conducting chart reviewsFacilitates and navigates licensed field team member performance/disciplinary issues as needed (clinical, professional, and regulatory scope issues)Assists site and operations leaders by reviewing and approving site-specific proceduresAssists site, operations, and medical operations team members with investigation of occurrence report (OR) root causes and mitigation plans, and reports of member dissatisfactionSolves complex problems effectively with an emphasis on developing proactive, productive approaches utilizing internal support functionsProvides guidance to health center operations, and regional clinical leaders for issues related to clinical programming and operational processes/optimizationResource for interpretation of clinical data for client presentationsResource for the appropriate selection of client PGsSkillsLicensed as an advanced practice provider (NP or PA)Bachelor of Science required10+ years of relevant work experience5+ years' experience in an occupational health practice3+ years' experience in a leadership or management roleWorking knowledge of regulatory requirements, standards, and guidelines (OSHA, DOT, etc.), worker's comp, hearing conservation, drug & alcohol testing, and workplace safetyAbility to create process flows to improve efficiency and adherence to corporate policies and government regulationsMasters or Doctorate preferredCOHN or COHN-S preferred if nursing; additional occupational health training if other licensed healthcare provider, preferredCAOHC certification/director, preferredPrior experience in an on-site health center preferredExperience working in a virtual environment preferredFunctional use of Microsoft Office Suite and web-based programs, Electronic Medical Record (EMR), preferredPriority Competencies: Decision Quality, Communicates Effectively, Demonstrates Self-Awareness, and Drives ResultsBenefitsCompetitive payMedical, dental, vision, life and disability insuranceA 401(k) program with company matchPaid holidays and vacation timeA company-sponsored wellness programEAPAccess to virtual primary care and virtual behavioral health at no cost for team members and their dependentsAnnual Performance Incentive that is a percentage of base salary and awarded based upon individual annual evaluation and company financial performanceFor individuals living in Washington or Colorado: Premise offers the following paid time off benefits.
