[Remote] Clinical Informaticist – Product Development

This role involves ensuring digital products align with clinical workflows and enhance patient care while collaborating with clinicians to gather feedback and validate workflows.ResponsibilitiesCreate test patients, test cases, and test data within the EHR systemsCreate and break down Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) into user storiesTranslate clinical needs into product specifications, including workflows and acceptance criteriaWork directly with clinicians and end users to gather feedback and validate workflowsSkillsHands-on experience with Cerner and/or AthenaAbility to create test patients, test cases, and test data within the EHR systemsAbility to create and break down Business Requirement Documents (BRDs) into user storiesAbility to translate clinical needs into product specifications, including workflows and acceptance criteriaAbility to work directly with clinicians and end users to gather feedback and validate workflowsClinical background with experience in Clinical Informatics, Healthcare Technology, or a related fieldHands-on experience with EHR systems, particularly Athena and CernerStrong technical aptitude, with the ability to navigate between clinical and technical domainsExperience translating clinical workflows into product requirements and collaborating with cross-functional teamsExperience setting up and managing EHR test environments for product validation and troubleshootingExcellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to engage both clinical and non-clinical stakeholdersWillingness to learn product management skills, including writing user stories, mapping workflows, and defining product requirementsProven ability to lead change, drive adoption, and advocate for clinical users in a technology-driven environmentStrong problem-solving skills, with the ability to think strategically about how technology can improve patient care and operational efficiencyFamiliarity with Agile practices and tools like Jira and ConfluenceExperience developing training resources and supporting end-user educationCompany OverviewFounded in 2004, SPECTRAFORCE® is a global staffing and workforce solutions company that helps organizations build high-performing teams across healthcare, technology, financial services, engineering, and professional services.
