[Remote] Clinical Healthcare Application Trainer
Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. enkompas Technology Solutions is seeking a skilled Clinical Healthcare Application Trainer with extensive experience in EHR/EMR systems, particularly with Netsmart software. The trainer will be responsible for designing, delivering, and maintaining training programs to ensure clinical and administrative staff can effectively use healthcare applications.ResponsibilitiesDesign and develop comprehensive training programs and materials for end-users of the system, tailored to various clinical and administrative rolesLead group training sessions, one-on-one coaching, and virtual sessions for new hires and existing staff on the functionality and best practices of EHR/EMR softwareAdapt training content to fit the specific workflows and needs of different departments, ensuring that each user group fully understands how to use the software in their daily operationsServe as the primary resource for questions and issues related to the software, providing hands-on support and troubleshooting during and after the training processCreate and maintain up-to-date user manuals, guides, video tutorials, and other supporting documents to ensure all users have access to key resources for ongoing learningAssess the effectiveness of training programs by gathering feedback, conducting post-training assessments, and tracking user proficiency with the EHR systemCollaborate with IT, clinical teams, and project managers to ensure that training initiatives are aligned with broader organizational goals and project timelinesStay informed of any updates or new features within ensuring that users are trained on new functionalities and system improvements in a timely mannerContinuously improve training methodologies by integrating user feedback and staying current with best practices in healthcare software trainingSkillsBachelor's degree in healthcare, Information Technology, Education, or a related field3+ years of experience in training or supporting clinical healthcare applications, with specific experience in EHR/EMR systems (Netsmart preferred)In-depth knowledge of EHR/EMR systems, especially in a clinical setting, with a strong understanding of healthcare workflows and processesExperience in developing and delivering training programs for clinical and non-clinical staff at various skill levelsExcellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to explain complex systems in a clear and concise mannerStrong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple training initiatives and locationsProblem-solving and troubleshooting abilities to assist users with software-related issuesProficiency in creating training materials using various formats such as PowerPoint, instructional videos, and e-learning platformsExperience with learning management systems (LMS) to track training progress and manage user certificationsCertification or formal training in EHR (Netsmart preferred) systemExperience working in a behavioral health or human services environment is a plusCompany Overviewenkompas Technology Solutions provides strategically aligned business and technology services to the enterprise market.
