Deloitte is seeking a high-performing Client Relationship Executive focused on business development initiatives within state and local government sectors. The role involves cultivating relationships with clients, developing strategic plans to generate revenue, and leading cross-disciplinary teams to deliver tailored solutions to client needs.ResponsibilitiesDrive targeting efforts across the breadth of a client's business units and functionsDevelop strategic and tactical plans to generate revenue - in particular, a 2-3+ year time horizonBuild relationships with key client executives, especially identifying new "white space" relationships, to generate and develop ideas, pursue opportunities and close salesPlay a leadership role in pursuits, provide client insights to inform the development of proposals, often coordinating these pursuits with Deloitte cross-disciplinary teamsWork closely with Deloitte's Lead Client Service Partner (LCSP) / Client Business Unit Leader(s) to ensure that the client business and financial plan(s) are developed, monitored and that pursuit processes are consistently executed across the accountProvide account and pursuit teams with deep knowledge of the client's engagement history, culture, organizational structure, competitive landscape and differentiators from the client's perspectiveUtilize broad understanding of Deloitte's service offerings and POVs to identify and co-develop holistic, tailored solutions to address client needsSkillsExperience as a relationship and/or business development manager serving state and local clientsStrong professional services sales management knowledgeAt least 5 years' experience with a proven track record doing capture and salesBachelor's DegreeWorking knowledge of competitive and teaming landscape; proven ability to assemble teams, teaming relationshipsExpertise driving call plans and developing value propositionsExperience in relationship building that increases account penetration and leads to increased revenue opportunities with new and existing clientsDemonstrable ability to leverage pre-existing network of clients or contacts in the marketplaceSuccess in playing a leading role within an account team framework (i.e., working effectively with Lead Client Service Partners, Service Line/Industry leaders, practitioners and other business development professionals)Ability to influence and lead cross-functional teams in client pursuitsStrong background in crafting and delivering proposalsDemonstrable ability to leverage pre-existing network of vendor solution partners in the marketplaceMust be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for employer sponsorship, now or at any time in the futureShould be based in the State of Louisiana or willing to re-locateAbility to travel 10-20%, on average, based on the work you do and the clients and industries/sectors you serveProven work experience with the State of Louisiana governmentWorking relationships with State of Louisiana local government leadersBenefitsYou may also be eligible to participate in a CRE incentive program, whereby you may be eligible to receive certain incentive compensation amounts based on achievement of certain sales goals set forth each year, subject to the terms and conditions of any applicable program document.Company OverviewDeloitte drives progress.
