[Remote] Client Analyst

The Client Analyst role involves working closely with clients and consulting teams to provide actionable data and strategic insights for benefit programs, requiring strong analytical and organizational skills.ResponsibilitiesPut together financial analyses including underwriting, renewal review, employee contribution modeling, market analysis and benchmarkingPrepare and speak to reporting packages and insights on demographic data and trends, including post-implementation changesProvide insight on network differentials and disruptionAssist with the preparation of financial modeling and forecasting using actuarial toolsDesign reports such as: claims reporting, client benchmarking, benefit cost analysis, enrollment overviews, plan comparisons and merger and acquisition analysisDeliver accurate and reliable claim reporting and financial modeling used to drive client decisionsIncrease efficiency within client teams by identifying ways to improve processes or create new onesDevelop client and carrier relationshipsReview and maintain client data within SalesforceCommunicate and liaise effectively with client team members and clients regarding strategic project executionSkillsBachelor's degree required5 + years of experience working in benefits consulting or healthcare fieldsStrong project management skills with high attention to detail and responsiveness in a deadline-driven environmentAbility to interface cross-departmentally and with clients and partnersAdvanced use of Microsoft ExcelEnglish ProficiencyMost importantly, live our Sequoia values day in and day outExperience with Salesforce is a plusExperience related to group health insurance and/or employee benefits programs is a plusBenefitsBase salaryPerformance-based bonus programsComprehensive benefits packageCompany OverviewSequoia is a consulting company that provides payroll, risk management, and benefits solutions for employers.
