The primary focus of this role is to provide technical support to Client Executives and clients in maintaining insurance policies, ensuring adherence to the objectives and procedures set by the Business Insurance manual.ResponsibilitiesProcess paperwork for new and renewal business to include:Prep Acord forms and other documents required for a submissionMaintain client level details in agency management systemBindersManagement and production of renewal certificatesPoliciesInvoicesFinance agreementsEndorsementsAuditsPerform account reconciliationAssist in the processing of final auditsBecome proficient in the use of technology systems, software, and tools such as ImageRight and SagittaEstablish and maintain positive and effective working relations with other associates and clientsSkillsA high school diploma and 1-2 years insurance related experience or professional office experienceObtain and maintain a valid Alaska Business Insurance LicenseObtain a Surplus Lines License in the first 2 yearsAchieve an AINS or INS Designation as well as have willingness to pursue continuing education in the form of insurance designations and professional development trainingMust be proficient in Microsoft Office software (Word, Excel, and Outlook)Must maintain a high attention to detail when working at a varying pace and managing multiple tasks with adjusting prioritiesStrong oral and written communication skills and the ability to work with all levels of staffStrong customer service orientation (internal customer focus)BenefitsGenerous time off, including personal and volunteeringTuition reimbursement and professional development opportunitiesCharitable contribution match programsStock purchase opportunitiesCompany OverviewMercer Company offers property management, investment, leasing, real estate, tenant, and owner representation services.
