[Remote] Client Accounting Analyst

The Client Accounting Analyst role involves managing retailer receivables, responding to accounting inquiries, and supporting the collections lifecycle to ensure compliance with RPS standards.ResponsibilitiesManage assigned retailer receivables to ensure timely payment and accurate account balancesRespond to internal and external accounting inquiries related to billing, payments, credits, and account statusSupport the full collections lifecycle in alignment with RPS collections policies and standardsResearch, analyze, and resolve account discrepancies, unapplied cash, and disputed balancesMonitor aging reports and work proactively to reduce past-due balancesServe as a primary point of contact for retail partners and branch stakeholders regarding receivables and collections mattersPartner closely with Collections leadership, Receivables, Payables, Audit Collections, and branch teams to resolve issues and maintain account current expectationsEscalate complex or high-risk issues appropriately while providing clear recommendations and documentationSupport audits and internal reviews as needed by providing documentation and account insightsContribute to team efforts supporting onboarding, training, and process updates related to customer service and collections workflowsFoster supportive team environment by sharing knowledge and assisting colleagues with routine questions related to collections processes and standard proceduresSkillsHigh School diploma and 2 years' accounting experienceIntermediate Excel and Microsoft Office proficiencyGreat organizational skills and high attention to detailStrong analytical skillsExcellent written and verbal communication skillsBachelors degree preferredQuickBooks experience desirableBenefitsMedical/dental/vision plans, which start from day one!Life and accident insurance401(K) and Roth optionsTax-advantaged accounts (HSA, FSA)Educational expense reimbursementPaid parental leaveDigital mental health services (Talkspace)Flexible work hours (availability varies by office and job function)Training programsGallagher Thrive program – elevating your health through challenges, workshops and digital fitness programs for your overall wellbeingCharitable matching gift programThe benefits summary above applies to fulltime positions.
