[Remote] ClearHealth Vice President of Sales - Remote

The Vice President of Sales for ClearHealth will drive new business growth, manage client relationships, and contribute to the long-term growth strategy while overseeing the full sales lifecycle.ResponsibilitiesDrive new business sales by prospecting, qualifying leads, presenting to C-level executives, and closing dealsIdentify opportunities, manage coordinated team response and submit proposalsStrengthen brand presence and industry relationships through marketing coordination, sponsorships and leadership participationIdentify and develop resources relevant to business development and sales goalsConduct webinars and presentations to raise the brand or product profileReceive and complete requests for proposals and business proposalsAcquire new customers (TPAs, Health Plans, Networks, Employers, etc.) for various ClearHealth products from various sources (networking, conferences, client and broker referrals, industry research, organic outreach, etc.)Manage all aspects of the sales process including prospecting, building proposals, direct sales presentations, closing of sales (building contracts, defining pricing, etc.) and post-sale transition to ClearHealth infrastructure (implementation)Assist in new customer implementation by working together with CHS Client Management resourcesEnsures a seamless transition of customer responsibility to the Account Management team following a successful implementationIdentifying new opportunities for existing clients within the ClearHealth product offering and promote products and services that will drive additional client valueSupport clients in education on ClearHealth products and services to support client-side employer and member growth including attending onsite meetings with client leadership, client sponsored sales conferences, symposiums & webinars, etcWork with Account Management to manage upsell opportunitiesMaintain new and renewal business as assigned, to meet objectives and standards of performance or growth expectationsCreate, in tandem with ClearHealth and UHC legal resources, contractual agreements to correspond with customer business arrangementsCreate short-term and long-term sales strategy and pipelineWork with ClearHealth and UHC leadership and finance teams to define aggressive yet attainable sales goalsStay current with industry trends to proactively identify new products and services for ClearHealth to offerWork cross-functionally to bring net new products to market including building the business case, defining requirements, and gathering end user feedback for internal teams to buildCoordinate Marketing resources to deploy material/collateral and tactics that enhances the Sales processManage brand sponsorships with industry trade groups, client events, and other targeted positional opportunitiesSupport ClearHealth / UHC leadership in UHG/UHC leadership discussions (QBRs, Business Planning, etc.)Promotes and maintains good industry relationships by staying connected with prospects and customers on a periodic basisDevelop and maintain key internal relationships across ClearHealth, UHC & OptumTrack emerging markets and trendsSkills8+ years of sales experience in the healthcare industry (out-of-network coverage; cost-containment or RBP)Ability to demonstrate superior presentation skills in both small and large group settingsProven servant leadership mindsetAbility to travel 30% of the timeProven ability to navigate cross-functional relationships to resolve customer issuesProven solid negotiation and leadership skillProven ability to work with brokers, directly with TPAs or self-insured employer plans or other alternative channelsProven excellent oral and written communication skillsProven solid team playerAll employees working remotely will be required to adhere to UnitedHealth Group's Telecommuter PolicyBenefitsA comprehensive benefits packageIncentive and recognition programsEquity stock purchase401k contribution (all benefits are subject to eligibility requirements)Bonuses based on sales performanceFlexibility to work remotely rom anywhere within the U.S.W2 option (implied by mention of employment and salary)Company OverviewUnitedHealthcare helps people live healthier lives by simplifying the health care experience.
